Kloudless is a cloud storage manager that can not be used by the end user, only by a developer. Nonetheless, we believe that we should review it, since it offers all the features that a cloud storage manager does.
Kloudless provides an API for the developer to access the files stored in different cloud services. In particular, with this API a developer can code the login to a service, and manage files/folder, e.g. create, delete, and rename. Therefore, by utilizing that API a developer can easily build a cloud storage manager.
Easy of use
The API is well documents with examples. A developer should not have a hard time using it.
Efficiency
Kloudless supports a large selection of cloud services:
- Alfresco
- Amazon S3
- Box
- Dropbox
- Egnyte
- Google Drive
- OneDrive
- Sharepoint
Cost
In the Free version, a developer’s app can connect up to 100 accounts, 10GB monthly bandwidth, and 30,000 requests to the API per month. We believe that any application will soon exceed these limits, especially the 30,000 requests. Kloudless does offer paid plans, but the develop need to contact them for a quote.
