An interesting tool developed by Firefox to share files. A user can share files with a total size up to 1GB or 2.5GB when the user signs in.
The process to add files is straight forward: either click on the add “+” button or drag & drop them. Set the expiration period, and further protect the files with a password. The files are not encrypted with that password. Instead, the recipient needs to enter the password to download the file(s). Finally, click on the upload button.
The files are then uploaded to a server, encrypted, and a link is created for the user to copy it and share it. If the files were encrypted with a password. when a user clicks on that link, (s)he will be asked to enter the password to start the download process.
